The story
Apis dorsata builds open combs high in the dipterocarp canopy. Tagbanua and Batak honey hunters climb for it in season, taking only what the colony can spare.
The honey is raw and single-forest: bright acidity, wildflower and resin, a texture that changes with the bloom.
